1. Formulation
(a) Active Ingredient: Sulodexide, which is a mixture of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) composed of dermatan sulfate (DS) and fast-moving heparin (FMH).

(c) Average Weight: Approximately 6500 Da (range 5000-8000).
2. Indications
(a) Sulodexide has been clinically used for:
o Prophylaxis and treatment of vascular diseases with an increased risk of thrombosis, including intermittent claudication, peripheral arterial occlusive disease, and post-myocardial infarction.
o Treatment of diabetic kidney disease and diabetic neuropathy.
o Venous disease with new anti-inflammatory properties.
3. Contraindications
(a) Hypersensitivity to sulodexide, heparin, or any excipients listed in section 6.1.
(b) Diathesis and hemorrhagic diseases.
