Pharmacovigilance Seminar for TGP Outlets
As part of TGP mission to provide safe and efficacious drugs to its buying public, The Generics Pharmacy in partnership with the Food and Drug Administration conducted Pharmacovigilance Seminar and launching of Med Surveillance Project.
The seminar was conducted last January 23, 2010 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at the Lungs Center of the Philippines Quezon City. The speaker was Dr. Klara Tisocki, B. Pharm, Ms.Sc., Ph.D, a Drug Regulation Specialist of the Food and Drug Administration. Three hundred participants happily attended the seminar.
Med Surveillance Project in an FDA program with its aim to protect the consumers and patients from the harmful effect of drug. FDA will distribute drop boxes to all pharmacy where the consumer can air their concern about drugs by accomplishing a feedback form and drop it to the available MedSurv drop box.
A second run of the seminar will be held on February 27, 2010 from 1:00 TO 5:00 pm at the Lung Center of the Philippines.
