DYNATUSSIN Dex+Gua+CPM+Para+PPA Capsule provides relief from symptoms associated with the common cold, respiratory infections or allergies, including cough, clogged nose, itchy watery eyes, and sneezing.
Description:
1. Formulation:
(a) Each capsule contains the following ingredients:
o Chlorphenamine maleate -------------------1 mg
o Dextromethorphan HBr ---------------------15 mg
o Guaifenesin ------------------------------------50 mg
o Paracetamol -----------------------------------325 mg
o Phenylpropanolamine HCl -------------------30 mg
2. Indications:
(a) It is used for cough and cold due to respiratory infections and/or allergy. Additionally, it provides relief from fever, pain, and discomfort associated with colds and flu.
3. Contraindications:
(a) Avoid using DYNATUSSIN Dex+Gua+CPM+Para+PPA Capsule in the following conditions:
o Hyperthyroidism
o Hypertension
o Coronary disease
o MAOIs (Monoamine oxidase inhibitors)
o Asthma
o Liver disease
o Cardiovascular disease
o Diabetes mellitus
o Closed-angle glaucoma
o Not recommended for infants
