1. Formulation
o Each tablet contains 50 mg of eperisone hydrochloride as the active ingredient.
2. Indications
o PERISPA Eperisone SC 50mg Tablet is used for the management and treatment of spastic paralysis in the following diseases:
i. Cerebrovascular disease
ii. Spastic spinal paralysis
iii. Cervical spondylosis
iv. Postoperative sequelae (including cerebrospinal tumor)
v. Sequelae to trauma (spinal trauma, head injury)
vi. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
vii. Cerebral palsy
viii. Spinocerebellar degeneration
ix. Spinal vascular diseases
x. Other encephalomyelopathies
3. Contraindications
o Avoid using this medication in the following cases:
i. Hypersensitivity to eperisone.
ii. Myasthenia gravis.
iii. Lactation.
4. Special Precautions
o Consider the following precautions:
i. Reduce the dose or discontinue treatment if weakness, lightheadedness, or sleepiness is observed.
ii. Use with caution in patients with hepatic function disorder.
iii. May impair the ability to drive or operate machinery.
iv. Use during pregnancy and lactation should be discussed with a healthcare provider.
