TELZYD H (Telmisartan-Hydrochlorothiazide 40/12.5mg Tablet) is a combination medication used for treating high blood pressure (hypertension). TELZYD H contains two active ingredients: telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide. Telmisartan belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs). It relaxes blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic (“water pill”) that increases urine production and also helps relax blood vessels.
