WHAT IS THE MEDICINE USED FOR?
(Indication) Meniere’s disease.
HOW MUCH AND HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU USE THIS MEDICINE?
(Dosage) Adult : PO As betahistine HCl: Initial: 8-16 mg tid. Maintenance: 24-48 mg/day.
(Precautions) Patient w/ active or history of peptic ulcer disease, bronchial asthma, CV disease. Hepatic impairment. Pregnancy and lactation.
(Adverse Reactions) Rash, pruritus, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, urticaria, dyspepsia, nausea, headache, confusion, convulsions, drowsiness, hallucination, paraesthesia, hypotension (including orthostatic and postural), tachycardia, abdominal distension and pain, bloating, peptic ulcer, vomiting, dyspnoea.
