Generic Name: Salbutamol + Guaifenesin Capsule
Brand Name: Solvomax-G
Dosage Strength: 2mg/100mg
Dosage Form: Capsule
Indication: For the treatment of respiratory disorders complicated by bronchospasm and excessive secretion of tenacious mucus, bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
Salbutamol, also known as albuterol, is used to open up medium and large airways in the lungs. Salbutamol is used to treat respiratory diseases such as asthma, exercise-stimulated bronchoconstriction, and chronic obstructive pneumonic illness. Guaifenesin, on the other hand, is an expectorant. It is sometimes called glyceryl guaiacolate. It is used to loosen the congestion and mucus in areas such as the chest, throat, and lungs, making it easier to cough out. When these two are combined, they open up the airways in the chest and make it easier for phlegm to be expelled through coughing.
