WHAT IS THE MEDICINE USED FOR?
- It is used for the treatment of angina pectoris and long-term treatment of coronary insufficiency.
HOW MUCH AND HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU USE THIS MEDICINE?
Usual Adult Dose: 1 tablet at mealtime in the morning and evening, or, as prescribed by a physician.
- The MR tablet should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the MR tablet since this may cause inappropriate release and absorption of the drug.
- Hypersensitivity to trimetazidine or any other ingredient
- Moclobemide, Phenelzine, Isocarboxazid, Tranylcypromine, Selegiline
(Precautions) Not a curative treatment for angina attacks nor an initial treatment for unstable angina pectoris. Not a treatment for MI.
(Adverse Reactions) GI disorders eg, nausea, vomiting. Parkinsonism, gait disorders, tremor.
