Close to 500 franchisees of TGP attended Day 2 of the drugstore’s annual summit for pharmacists and franchisees, which was held last August 25 and 26. TGP sees its franchisees as crucial business partners, as they play a vital role in the community drugstore’s mission of bringing accessible healthcare to all Filipinos. TGP is the largest generics drugstore chain in the Philippines. Day 1 of the summit was attended by over 600 pharmacists.
Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez said in his keynote speech, “By selling budget-friendly medicines, you are helping our people who need affordable medication especially now that jobs and employment have been affected by the pandemic and taking care of one’s health has become doubly important. […] As a local franchise, you save jobs and livelihoods by continuing to operate.”
TGP also gave out its annual Founder’s Cup and Trade Partners Awards, which recognizes exceptional performance in the past year among its franchisees and vendors, respectively.
