BEWELL-C Sodium Ascorbate 500mg Capsule is a vitamin C supplement that provides 500 mg of sodium ascorbate.
1. Indications
(a) It is used in the treatment and prevention of Vitamin C deficiency.
2. Dosage
(a) Take 1-2 capsules a day.
(b) May be taken with or without food.
3. Special Precautions
(a) Avoid in patients with:
o Diabetes mellitus
o G6PD deficiency
o Haemochromatosis
o History of renal stones (e.g., oxalate kidney stones)
o Predisposition to recurrent renal calculi
o Renal impairment
o Children (<2 years of age) and elderly
o During pregnancy and lactation
