DESCRIPTION
GUAIFLEM is an expectorant syrup containing Guaifenesin, which helps loosen and thin mucus in the airways. It makes coughs more productive by clearing phlegm, easing chest congestion, and improving breathing in patients with respiratory tract conditions associated with thick secretions.
USES
• Relief of chest congestion
• Helps loosen and expel phlegm and mucus
• Used for productive cough associated with colds, flu, and bronchitis
• Supports easier and more comfortable breathing
DOSAGE
• Adults: 10 mL every 4–6 hours as needed
• Children (6–12 years): 5 mL every 4–6 hours, or as directed by a physician
• Children below 6 years: Use only upon medical advice
• Take with a full glass of water to help loosen mucus
• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose
PRECAUTIONS
• Do not exceed the recommended dosage
• Consult a doctor if cough persists for more than 7 days, or if accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache
• Use with caution in patients with chronic cough (e.g., asthma, smoking related cough)
• Seek medical advice before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
