DESCRIPTION
TEMPRA FORTE Paracetamol Syrup Orange Flavor contains paracetamol (acetaminophen) 250 mg per 5 mL, an analgesic and antipyretic used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. It works by acting on the pain  and temperature regulating centers in the brain. The orange flavored syrup is formulated for better acceptability, especially for children who require a higher strength paracetamol preparation. The 120 mL bottle is suitable for continuous or prescribed use.

USES
• Reduction of fever, including fever due to colds, flu, or post immunization
• Relief of mild to moderate pain, such as:
o Headache
o Toothache
o Ear pain
o Sore throat
o Muscle and body aches
• Relief of pain from minor medical procedures or injuries

DOSAGE
• Children and adolescents:
o Dose is based on age and body weight, as directed by a physician
o May be given every 4–6 hours, as needed
• Maximum: Do not exceed 4 doses within 24 hours
Shake well before use.
Use a proper measuring device to ensure accurate dosing.

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• Avoid giving with other medicines containing paracetamol to prevent overdose
• Use with caution in patients with liver disease
• Consult a doctor before use in infants below 3 months of age
• Discontinue use and consult a physician if fever persists for more than 3 days or pain worsens
• Keep out of reach of children
