TGP Paracetamol Tablet 500mg
DESCRIPTION
TGP Paracetamol Tablet 500mg contains paracetamol (acetaminophen), a widely used analgesic and antipyretic. It works by acting on the pain and temperature regulating centers in the brain to help relieve pain and reduce fever. It does not cause gastric irritation when taken at recommended doses.

USES
• Relief of mild to moderate pain such as:
o Headache
o Toothache
o Muscle and joint pain
o Back pain
o Menstrual pain
• Reduction of fever associated with colds, flu, and other infections

DOSAGE
• Adults and children 12 years and above:
o 1 tablet (500mg) every 4–6 hours as needed
o Maximum: 4,000mg (8 tablets) per day
• Children below 12 years:
o As directed by a physician
Do not take more frequently than recommended.

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• Use with caution in patients with liver disease or chronic alcohol use
• Avoid taking other medicines that contain paracetamol at the same time
• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
• If pain or fever persists for more than 3 days, consult a physician
• Keep out of reach of children

SIDE EFFECTS
Generally well tolerated when used as directed. Rare side effects may include:
• Nausea
• Stomach discomfort
