ASTROL Vitex Negundo (Lagundi) Syrup 300 mg / 120 mL
DESCRIPTION
ASTROL Lagundi Syrup is a herbal cough and respiratory supplement containing Vitex negundo (Lagundi) leaf extract. Lagundi is traditionally used and locally recognized for its expectorant, bronchodilator, and anti inflammatory properties, helping relieve cough and other mild respiratory symptoms.
USES
• Relief of cough (productive and non productive)
• Helps loosen and expel phlegm
• Supports relief of mild bronchial asthma symptoms
• Helps ease chest congestion
• Traditionally used for upper respiratory tract discomfort
DOSAGE
• Adults: 10 mL every 6–8 hours, or as directed by a healthcare professional
• Children (6–12 years): 5 mL every 6–8 hours
• Children below 6 years: Use only upon advice of a physician
• Preferably taken after meals
PRECAUTIONS
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• Consult a doctor if cough persists for more than 7 days or is accompanied by fever, shortness of breath, or worsening symptoms
• Seek medical advice before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Use with caution in individuals with known herbal allergies
• Keep out of reach of children
SIDE EFFECTS
Generally well tolerated when used as directed. Rare and mild effects may include:
• Nausea
• Mild stomach discomfort
• Allergic reactions (very rare)
