DESCRIPTION
DEXTRO Dextromethorphan Tablet is a non opioid antitussive medicine used to suppress dry, non productive cough. Dextromethorphan works by acting on the cough center in the brain to reduce the urge to cough without providing pain relief or causing dependence when used at recommended doses.

USES
• Relief of dry, irritating, non productive cough
• Cough associated with common cold or upper respiratory tract infections
• Cough due to throat or bronchial irritation

DOSAGE
Use as directed by a physician.
• Adults and adolescents: 1 tablet every 6–8 hours as needed
• Children: Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional based on age

PRECAUTIONS
• Not recommended for productive cough with excessive mucus
• Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 14 days of stopping them
