TGP Fusidic Acid Cream 2% 5g
DESCRIPTION
TGP Fusidic Acid Cream 2% 5g is a topical antibiotic preparation containing fusidic acid. It is effective against susceptible bacteria, particularly Staphylococcus species, and is used for the treatment of bacterial skin infections. The cream formulation allows easy application and good skin absorption.

USES
• Treatment of bacterial skin infections such as:
o Impetigo
o Infected eczema or dermatitis
o Folliculitis
o Infected cuts, wounds, and abrasions
• Other susceptible skin infections as recommended by a physician

DOSAGE
• Adults and children:
o Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–3 times daily or as directed by a physician
• Clean and dry the affected area before application
• For external use only

PRECAUTIONS
• For external use only; avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes
• Do not use on large areas of broken skin unless advised by a doctor
• Prolonged use may increase the risk of bacterial resistance
• Consult a doctor before use in infants or if symptoms persist or worsen
• Discontinue use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs

SIDE EFFECTS
Generally well tolerated. Possible side effects may include:
