LONIPER Loperamide Capsule 2mg
DESCRIPTION
LONIPER Loperamide Capsule 2mg is an anti diarrheal medication containing loperamide hydrochloride. It works by slowing down intestinal movement, allowing more water to be absorbed from the stool, thereby reducing the frequency and urgency of bowel movements.

USES
• Symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea
• Control of chronic diarrhea associated with inflammatory bowel conditions (as advised by a physician)
• Helps reduce stool volume and frequency

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o Initial dose: 2 capsules (4 mg) after the first loose stool
o Followed by 1 capsule (2 mg) after each subsequent loose stool
• Maximum dose: 8 capsules (16 mg) per day
• Children (6 years and above):
o As directed by a physician
Discontinue use once stools are formed or if constipation occurs.

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• Not recommended for children below 6 years old
• Do not use in cases of bloody diarrhea, high fever, or acute dysentery
• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, or with liver disease
• Stop use and consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 2 days
