DESCRIPTION
MEGALIN Mefenamic Acid Capsule 250mg is a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the relief of mild to moderate pain. It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain, inflammation, and swelling.

USES
• Relief of mild to moderate pain
• Treatment of dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain)
• Relief of toothache, headache, and muscle pain
• Management of pain due to minor injuries or inflammation

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o Initial dose: 500 mg
o Then 250 mg every 6 hours as needed
• Duration: Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time possible or as directed by a physician
Take after meals to reduce stomach irritation.

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration
• Not recommended for patients with a history of peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe kidney disease
• Use with caution in elderly patients
