DESCRIPTION
SNAPS Butamirate Citrate Syrup is a non opioid antitussive medication used to suppress dry, non productive cough. It acts centrally on the cough center to reduce the cough reflex without causing respiratory depression or dependency. It is suitable for cough associated with upper respiratory tract irritation where mucus production is minimal or absent.

USES
• Relief of dry, irritating, non productive cough
• Cough due to acute upper respiratory tract infections
• Cough associated with allergies or environmental irritants
• Symptomatic relief of cough before or after surgical procedures, as advised by a physician

DOSAGE
Use as directed by a physician.
• Adults and adolescents: 15 mL 3 times daily
• Children 6–12 years: 10 mL 3 times daily
• Children 3–6 years: 5 mL 3 times daily
• Children below 3 years: Use only if prescribed by a healthcare professional
Shake well before use. Measure doses accurately using a proper measuring device.

PRECAUTIONS
• Not recommended for productive cough with significant mucus
• Avoid combining with expectorants or mucolytics unless advised by a healthcare professional
• Use with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to butamirate

• If cough persists for more than 7 days or worsens, seek medical advice
