DESCRIPTION
BETADINE Povidone Iodine Gargle Solution 1% is an antiseptic oral gargle used to disinfect the mouth and throat. Povidone iodine has broad spectrum antimicrobial activity against bacteria, viruses, and fungi, helping reduce throat infection, soothe irritation, and maintain oral hygiene. The solution is intended for gargling and spitting out only.

USES
• Relief of sore throat and throat irritation
• Adjunct treatment for throat and mouth infections
• Oral and pharyngeal antisepsis
• Support in reducing oral bacterial and viral load
• Pre and post dental or throat procedures, as advised

DIRECTIONS FOR USE / DOSAGE
Use as directed by a physician or label instructions.
• Dilute 10–15 mL of the solution with an equal amount of clean water
• Gargle thoroughly for 30 seconds, then spit out
• Use 2–3 times daily or as directed
Do not swallow.
