DESCRIPTION
DRETACEN Levetiracetam Tablet is an antiepileptic (anti seizure) medication used to control and prevent seizures. Levetiracetam works by modulating neurotransmitter release and reducing abnormal electrical activity in the brain. It is commonly used as monotherapy or adjunct therapy in various types of epilepsy.

USES
• Management of partial onset (focal) seizures
• Treatment of myoclonic seizures
• Treatment of primary generalized tonic clonic seizures
• Adjunct therapy in epilepsy
• Seizure control in adults and children as prescribed

DOSAGE
Use strictly as directed by a physician.
• Adults and adolescents:
Usually 500 mg twice daily; dose may be increased gradually based on response
• Children:
Dosage is based on age and body weight, as prescribed
Tablets should be swallowed whole with water and may be taken with or without food. Doses should be taken at the same times each day.

PRECAUTIONS
