DESCRIPTION
EUTHYROX Levothyroxine Sodium Tablet 100 mcg contains levothyroxine sodium, a synthetic form of the thyroid hormone thyroxine (T4). It replaces or supplements naturally occurring thyroid hormones and helps regulate metabolism, energy production, and growth and development in patients with thyroid hormone deficiency.

USES
• Treatment of hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid)
• Thyroid hormone replacement therapy following thyroidectomy
• Management of congenital or acquired thyroid hormone deficiency
• TSH suppression therapy in selected thyroid disorders, as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Dosage is individualized based on age, body weight, clinical condition, and thyroid hormone levels
• Common adult maintenance dose: 100 mcg once daily, or as prescribed by a healthcare professional
• Take once daily on an empty stomach, preferably 30–60 minutes before breakfast
• Tablets should be taken consistently at the same time each day
• Dose adjustments are made gradually based on TSH monitoring

PRECAUTIONS
• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease, including ischemic heart disease and arrhythmias
