DESCRIPTION
KASTIMON Meloxicam Tablet is a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and inflammation. Meloxicam works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, thereby reducing inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and pain associated with musculoskeletal and joint disorders. It is generally used for longer term inflammatory conditions due to its relatively selective COX 2 activity.

DOSAGE
Use strictly as directed by a physician.
• Adults:
7.5 mg once daily; may be increased to a maximum of 15 mg per day if required
Tablets should be taken with food or after meals to reduce gastric irritation. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

PRECAUTIONS
• Use with caution in patients with a history of gastric ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, or cardiovascular disease
• Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer, severe heart failure, or severe liver or kidney impairment
• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible
• Avoid concomitant use with other NSAIDs unless prescribed
• Consult a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Discontinue and seek medical advice if severe stomach pain, black stools, or signs of allergic reaction occur
