DESCRIPTION
CARDIOVASC Amlodipine Tablet 10mg contains amlodipine besylate, a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, which improves blood flow and lowers blood pressure. It also reduces the workload of the heart, helping prevent chest pain.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Management of angina pectoris (chronic stable and vasospastic angina)
• Helps prevent complications of high blood pressure such as heart attack and stroke

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o Usual dose: 5–10 mg once daily
o Maximum dose: 10 mg per day or as directed by a physician
May be taken with or without food. Take at the same time each day.

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• Use with caution in patients with liver impairment or heart failure
