DESCRIPTION
TGP Aciclovir Tablet 400 mg contains aciclovir, an antiviral agent effective against herpes viruses. It works by inhibiting viral DNA synthesis, thereby limiting viral replication. Aciclovir is most effective when started early in the course of infection and helps reduce the severity and duration of symptoms.

• Treatment of Herpes simplex virus (HSV) infections, including:
o Genital herpes
o Cold sores (herpes labialis)
• Management and suppression of recurrent HSV infections
• Treatment of Varicella zoster virus (VZV) infections, including:
o Chickenpox
o Herpes zoster (shingles)
• Prophylaxis of herpes infections in immunocompromised patients, as prescribed

DOSAGE
