DESCRIPTION
TGP Clobetasol Propionate Cream 0.05% is a high potency topical corticosteroid indicated for the short term management of severe inflammatory skin conditions. It works by reducing inflammation, redness, swelling, and itching associated with corticosteroid responsive dermatoses.

USES
• Severe eczema
• Psoriasis (excluding widespread plaque psoriasis unless supervised)
• Dermatitis unresponsive to lower potency steroids
• Lichen planus
• Lupus erythematosus (cutaneous)
• Other corticosteroid responsive inflammatory skin disorders, as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Use only as prescribed by a healthcare professional
• Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily
• Gently rub in until absorbed
• Treatment duration should generally not exceed 1–2 weeks
• Do not cover with occlusive dressings unless directed by a physician

PRECAUTIONS
• For external use only
• Do not apply to the face, groin, or underarms unless specifically prescribed
• Avoid use on broken, infected, or ulcerated skin unless advised
• Prolonged or excessive use may cause systemic absorption
• Use with caution in children; pediatric use should be limited and supervised
• Do not use for untreated fungal, bacterial, or viral skin infections

SIDE EFFECTS
• Burning, stinging, or itching at the application site
• Skin thinning (atrophy)
• Stretch marks (striae)
• Skin discoloration
• Acne like eruptions
• Rarely, suppression of adrenal function with prolonged or excessive use
Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if severe irritation or worsening of condition occurs.
