DESCRIPTION
TGP Dutasteride plus Tamsulosin Capsule 500 micrograms / 400 micrograms is a fixed dose combination medicine used for the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Dutasteride is a 5 alpha reductase inhibitor that reduces prostate size by lowering dihydrotestosterone levels, while tamsulosin is an alpha 1 adrenergic blocker that relaxes smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck to improve urine flow.

USES
• Treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate)
• Relief of lower urinary tract symptoms such as:
o Difficulty in urination
o Weak urine stream
o Frequent urination, especially at night
o Incomplete bladder emptying
