DESCRIPTION
XYFROX Cefuroxime Axetil Film Coated Tablet 500mg contains cefuroxime axetil, a second generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the elimination of susceptible bacteria. It is effective against a wide range of gram positive and gram negative organisms.

USES
• Treatment of bacterial infections such as:
o Respiratory tract infections (e.g., sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)
o Ear, nose, and throat infections

• Treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria as prescribed by a physician

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o 250–500 mg twice daily, depending on the type and severity of infection, or as directed by a physician
