COX 2 Celecoxib Capsule 200mg
DESCRIPTION
COX 2 Celecoxib Capsule 200mg contains celecoxib, a selective cyclooxygenase 2 (COX 2) inhibitor. It is a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps relieve pain and inflammation by selectively inhibiting COX 2 enzymes, which are primarily responsible for inflammation and pain, while having less effect on COX 1 that protects the stomach lining.

USES
• Relief of pain and inflammation
• Treatment of osteoarthritis
• Treatment of rheumatoid arthritis
• Management of ankylosing spondylitis
• Relief of acute pain such as musculoskeletal pain
• Treatment of primary dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain)

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o Usually 200mg once daily or 100mg twice daily, depending on the condition, or as directed by a physician
• May be taken with or without food
• Swallow capsule whole with water
Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with treatment goals.

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• Not recommended for patients with known hypersensitivity to sulfonamides, celecoxib, or other NSAIDs
• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease, hypertension, kidney or liver impairment
• Increased risk of cardiovascular events (heart attack or stroke) with long term or high dose use
• Avoid use in patients with active gastrointestinal bleeding
• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
• Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs unless advised
