DESCRIPTION
TGP ASPEN Aspirin EC Tablet 80mg contains acetylsalicylic acid in an enteric coated (EC) formulation. Aspirin is an antiplatelet agent that works by inhibiting platelet aggregation, thereby reducing the formation of blood clots. The enteric coating helps minimize stomach irritation by allowing the tablet to dissolve in the intestine rather than the stomach.

USES
• Prevention of blood clot formation
• Reduction of risk of heart attack and ischemic stroke
• Secondary prevention in patients with cardiovascular disease
• Adjunct therapy in patients with a history of transient ischemic attack (TIA) or stroke
• Used as prescribed for antiplatelet therapy

DOSAGE
• Adults: 1 tablet (80mg) once daily, or as directed by a physician
• Swallow tablet whole with water
• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet
Take preferably at the same time each day.

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• Increased risk of bleeding; inform a doctor if unusual bleeding or bruising occurs
• Use with caution in patients with a history of peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, asthma, or kidney disease
• Avoid use in children and teenagers with viral infections due to risk of Reye’s syndrome
• Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding
• Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs unless advised by a physician
