DESCRIPTION
FLANAX FORTE Naproxen Sodium Tablet 550mg contains naproxen sodium, a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, thereby reducing pain, inflammation, and swelling. The sodium salt form allows for faster absorption, providing quicker relief compared with plain naproxen.

USES
• Relief of mild to moderate pain
• Treatment of inflammatory conditions such as:
o Osteoarthritis
o Rheumatoid arthritis
o Ankylosing spondylitis
• Relief of muscle and joint pain
• Treatment of dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain)
• Relief of pain due to injury, sprain, or inflammation

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o Initial dose: 550mg
o Then 275–550mg every 8–12 hours as needed
• Maximum dose: As directed by a physician
Take after meals to reduce gastrointestinal irritation.
Swallow tablet whole with water.
Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• Not recommended in patients with a history of peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe heart, kidney, or liver disease
