DESCRIPTION
BETADOL Carvedilol Film Coated Tablet 6.25mg contains carvedilol, a non selective beta adrenergic blocker with alpha 1 blocking activity. It lowers blood pressure and heart workload by reducing heart rate and dilating blood vessels. Carvedilol is widely used in the management of heart related conditions and helps improve heart function and survival in selected patients.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Management of heart failure (as part of combination therapy)
• Treatment of left ventricular dysfunction after myocardial infarction
• Helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o Initial dose: 6.25mg once or twice daily, as prescribed
o Dose may be gradually increased based on response and tolerance
Take with food to reduce the risk of dizziness.
Swallow tablet whole with water.

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not discontinue abruptly; reduce dose gradually under medical supervision
• Use with caution in patients with asthma, chronic lung disease, diabetes, or kidney impairment
• May mask symptoms of hypoglycemia in diabetic patients
