DESCRIPTION
TGP Co Amoxiclav Film Coated Tablet 500mg/125mg is a combination antibiotic containing amoxicillin (a penicillin type antibiotic) and clavulanic acid (a beta lactamase inhibitor). Amoxicillin works by killing bacteria, while clavulanic acid helps overcome bacterial resistance by inhibiting beta lactamase enzymes, thereby broadening the spectrum of antibacterial activity.

USES
• Treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms, including:
o Respiratory tract infections (e.g., sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)
o Ear, nose, and throat infections
o Urinary tract infections
o Skin and soft tissue infections
o Dental infections
• Other infections as prescribed by a physician

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o 1 tablet (500mg/125mg) every 8 hours, or as directed by a physician
• Children:
o As directed by a physician, based on body weight
Take at the start of a meal to reduce gastrointestinal side effects.
Swallow tablet whole with water.
Complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve.
