DESCRIPTION
TGP Azithromycin Film Coated Tablet 500mg contains azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping the growth of susceptible bacteria. It is effective against a wide range of gram positive and gram negative organisms and is commonly used for various bacterial infections.

USES
• Treatment of bacterial infections such as:
o Respiratory tract infections (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia)
o Ear, nose, and throat infections
o Skin and soft tissue infections
o Sexually transmitted infections such as uncomplicated Chlamydia trachomatis
• Other infections caused by azithromycin sensitive organisms, as prescribed by a physician

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o 500mg once daily for 3 days, or as directed by a physician
• Dosage and duration depend on the type and severity of infection
May be taken with or without food.
Swallow tablet whole with water.
Complete the full course of therapy even if symptoms improve.
