DESCRIPTION
BENEDEX Amoxicillin Capsule 500mg contains amoxicillin, a penicillin type antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the elimination of susceptible bacteria. It is widely used for the treatment of various bacterial infections and is effective against many gram positive and gram negative organisms.

USES
• Treatment of bacterial infections such as:
o Respiratory tract infections (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia)
o Ear, nose, and throat infections
o Urinary tract infections
o Skin and soft tissue infections
• Treatment of dental infections
• Part of combination therapy for Helicobacter pylori eradication (as prescribed)

DOSAGE
• Adults:
o 500mg every 8 hours, or as directed by a physician
• Children:
o Dosage based on body weight, as directed by a physician
May be taken with or without food.
Swallow capsule whole with water.
Complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve.
