DESCRIPTION
ALNIX Cetirizine Syrup 5 mg per 5 mL is a second generation antihistamine formulated for oral use, especially suitable for children. Cetirizine works by selectively blocking histamine (H1) receptors, thereby reducing allergic symptoms with minimal sedative effects compared to first generation antihistamines.

USES
• Relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever), including sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and itchy or watery eyes
• Treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives)
• Relief of skin allergy symptoms such as itching and redness
• Other allergic conditions as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional
• General dosing guidelines:
o Children 2–5 years: 2.5 mL once daily (may be increased as prescribed)
o Children 6 years and above: 5 mL once daily
o Adults: May take higher doses as prescribed

• Shake well before use
