DESCRIPTION
ALZOR CCB Olmesartan Medoxomil + Amlodipine Film Coated Tablet 20 mg / 5 mg is a fixed dose combination antihypertensive medicine. Olmesartan medoxomil is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking vasoconstrictive effects of angiotensin II, while amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that further dilates blood vessels by inhibiting calcium entry into vascular smooth muscle. The combination provides effective and sustained blood pressure control.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• For patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on monotherapy
• Helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications such as stroke and heart attack associated with uncontrolled hypertension

DOSAGE
• Adults: One tablet once daily, with or without food, as prescribed by a healthcare professional
