DESCRIPTION
CENTRAMED Hydrocortisone Cream 10 mg/g (1%) contains hydrocortisone, a mild topical corticosteroid used to reduce inflammation, redness, swelling, and itching associated with various inflammatory and allergic skin conditions. The cream formulation is suitable for short term use on mild to moderately inflamed skin.

USES
• Relief of skin inflammation and itching
• Treatment of allergic skin reactions
• Management of eczema and dermatitis
• Relief of insect bites and mild rashes
• Treatment of contact dermatitis and other mild steroid responsive skin conditions

DOSAGE
• Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1–3 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional
• Gently rub into the skin until absorbed
• Use for the shortest duration necessary to control symptoms

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not apply to broken, infected, or open wounds
• Avoid use on the face, groin, or armpits unless prescribed by a healthcare professional
• Prolonged or excessive use may cause skin thinning
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes

• Use with caution in children; medical supervision is recommended

SIDE EFFECTS
Generally well tolerated when used as directed. Possible side effects include:
• Mild burning, stinging, or irritation
• Skin dryness or redness
