DESCRIPTION
CEPHAM Cefalexin Capsule 250 mg is a first generation cephalosporin antibiotic containing cefalexin. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the destruction of susceptible bacteria. It is effective against a wide range of gram positive and some gram negative organisms.

• Respiratory tract infections
• Ear, nose, and throat infections
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Bone and joint infections
• Other bacterial infections caused by cefalexin sensitive organisms

DOSAGE
• Adults and children: Dosage depends on the type and severity of infection and should be prescribed by a healthcare professional
• Common dosing: 250 mg to 500 mg every 6 to 12 hours
• Capsules may be taken with or without food
• Complete the full course of therapy even if symptoms improve

PRECAUTIONS
