DESCRIPTION
EUTHYROX Levothyroxine Sodium Tablet contains levothyroxine sodium, a synthetic form of the thyroid hormone thyroxine (T4). It is used as thyroid hormone replacement therapy to restore normal metabolic activity in patients with inadequate thyroid hormone production. Levothyroxine helps regulate energy levels, body temperature, heart rate, and overall metabolism.

• Treatment of hypothyroidism
• Thyroid hormone replacement after thyroidectomy
• Management of hypothyroidism following radioactive iodine therapy
• Treatment of congenital hypothyroidism
• Suppression therapy in certain thyroid disorders, as prescribed
• Adjunct management of goiter

DOSAGE
Use strictly as directed by a physician.
• Adults: 50 mcg once daily, or as individually prescribed
• Dosage is personalized based on age, body weight, cardiac status, and thyroid function tests
Administration instructions:
• Take once daily in the morning, on an empty stomach
• Take at least 30–60 minutes before breakfast
• Swallow the tablet whole with water
• Take consistently at the same time each day

PRECAUTIONS
• Not to be used for weight loss or obesity treatment
• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease, arrhythmias, or elderly patients
• Regular monitoring of TSH and free T4 levels is required
• Avoid switching brands or strengths without medical supervision
• Certain products (e.g., calcium, iron, antacids, soy) may reduce absorption—take at least 4 hours apart
• Use during pregnancy is usually required, but dose adjustment may be necessary
• Inform the physician of all other medications being taken

SIDE EFFECTS
