Description

FORHYPO contains Levothyroxine Sodium 100 mcg, a synthetic form of the thyroid hormone thyroxine (T4). It is used to replace or supplement thyroid hormone in patients with an underactive thyroid gland and helps maintain normal metabolism, growth, and energy levels.

Uses
Treatment of hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid)
Replacement therapy in patients with thyroid hormone deficiency
Management of certain thyroid disorders
Prevention of goiter recurrence after thyroid surgery

Dosage

Adults and Children:

Take as prescribed by your physician.
Usually taken once daily, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach, at least 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast.
Swallow the tablet with water.

Missed Dose:

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember.
If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose.
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
