NEPIDOL Amlodipine Besilate Tablet 10 mg is a calcium channel blocker used to manage high blood pressure and certain heart conditions. It works by relaxing blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily and reducing the workload on the heart, which helps lower blood pressure and improve oxygen delivery to the heart muscle.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Management of chronic stable angina
• Treatment of vasospastic (Prinzmetal’s) angina
• Prevention of complications related to uncontrolled high blood pressure such as stroke and heart attack, as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Adults:
Usually 5 mg once daily, which may be increased to 10 mg once daily depending on blood pressure response and medical advice.
• May be taken with or without food.
• Take the tablet at the same time each day.

PRECAUTIONS
• Do not use if allergic to amlodipine or other dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers
