DESCRIPTION
NEPIDOL Amlodipine Besilate Tablet 5 mg contains amlodipine besilate, a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure. This helps reduce the workload on the heart and improves oxygen delivery.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Management of chronic stable angina
• Treatment of vasospastic (Prinzmetal’s) angina

DOSAGE
• Adults: Usually 5 mg once daily; dose may be increased to a maximum of 10 mg once daily as directed by a healthcare professional
• Elderly or patients with liver impairment: Lower starting dose may be recommended
