DESCRIPTION
NIFECAR Nifedipine Sustained Release Tablet 20 mg contains nifedipine, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure. The sustained release formulation allows gradual drug release for prolonged therapeutic effect.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Management of chronic stable angina
• Prevention of vasospastic (Prinzmetal’s) angina
• Long term control of cardiovascular conditions as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Adults: Usually 20 mg once or twice daily, depending on clinical response and physician’s advice
• Dose may be adjusted gradually based on blood pressure control
Note: Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush, chew, or split.
