DESCRIPTION
TAREG Valsartan Film Coated Tablet contains valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the effects of angiotensin II, a substance that causes blood vessels to constrict. By relaxing and widening blood vessels, valsartan lowers blood pressure and reduces the workload on the heart, helping improve cardiovascular outcomes.

USES
• Management of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Treatment of heart failure
• Reduction of risk of cardiovascular mortality following myocardial infarction (heart attack)
• Protection of kidney function in patients with hypertension, as prescribed

DOSAGE
Use strictly as directed by a physician.
• Adults: 160 mg once daily
• Dose may be adjusted based on blood pressure response and clinical condition
Tablet may be taken with or without food and should be taken at the same time each day. Swallow whole with water.

PRECAUTIONS
• Contraindicated during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters
• Use with caution in patients with kidney disease, liver impairment, or dehydration

SIDE EFFECTS
