DESCRIPTION
TGP Etoricoxib Film Coated Tablet 120 mg contains etoricoxib, a selective cyclo oxygenase 2 (COX 2) inhibitor. It provides anti inflammatory and analgesic effects by reducing prostaglandin synthesis responsible for pain and inflammation, with a lower risk of gastrointestinal irritation compared with non selective NSAIDs.

USES
• Acute gouty arthritis
• Severe acute pain and inflammation
• Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
• Ankylosing spondylitis
• Short term management of postoperative or dental pain, as prescribed

DOSAGE
• Adults: One tablet (120 mg) once daily, or as prescribed by a healthcare professional
• Intended for short term use; do not exceed 120 mg per day
• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration
• Tablets may be taken with or without food

PRECAUTIONS
• Not recommended in patients with established cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or severe heart failure
• Use with caution in patients with hypertension, renal impairment, or hepatic impairment
• Avoid use in patients with active peptic ulcer disease or gastrointestinal bleeding
• Monitor blood pressure during treatment
• Avoid concomitant use with other NSAIDs
• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless clearly needed and prescribed
