DESCRIPTION
TGP Irbesartan Tablet contains irbesartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) indicated for the management of high blood pressure. It works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a substance that causes blood vessels to constrict, thereby allowing blood vessels to relax and improve blood flow. Irbesartan also offers kidney protective benefits, particularly in patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes.

USES
• Management of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Reduction of risk of stroke and cardiovascular complications
• Protection against kidney damage in patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension

DOSAGE
Use as directed by a physician.
• Adults: 300 mg once daily
• Dose may be adjusted based on blood pressure response and clinical condition
Tablet may be taken with or without food and should be taken at the same time each day.

PRECAUTIONS
• Contraindicated during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters
