DESCRIPTION
TGP Losartan Tablet 100 mg contains losartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a substance that causes blood vessels to narrow. This results in relaxation of blood vessels, lowering blood pressure and reducing strain on the heart and kidneys.

USES
• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Reduction of risk of stroke in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy
• Protection of kidney function in patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension
• Management of cardiovascular conditions as prescribed by a healthcare professional

DOSAGE
• Adults: Usually 50–100 mg once daily, depending on clinical response and medical advice
• Maximum dose: 100 mg per day, taken as a single dose or in divided doses
