DESCRIPTION
TGP MYREX Ciprofloxacin Tablet 500 mg is a broad spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic containing ciprofloxacin. It works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes essential for bacterial DNA replication, resulting in the elimination of susceptible bacteria.

• Gastrointestinal infections, including infectious diarrhea
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Bone and joint infections
• Certain sexually transmitted infections
• Treatment of infections caused by ciprofloxacin sensitive organisms

DOSAGE
• Dosage should be prescribed by a healthcare professional based on the type and severity of infection
• Common adult dose: 250 mg to 750 mg every 12 hours
• Tablets may be taken with or without food, but avoid dairy products alone at dosing time
• Swallow tablets whole with adequate water
• Complete the full course of therapy even if symptoms improve
