DESCRIPTION
TGP KYLEZINE Clindamycin Capsule 300 mg is a lincosamide antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping the growth of susceptible bacteria. It is effective against various anaerobic bacteria and certain gram positive organisms.

USES
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Bone and joint infections
• Respiratory tract infections
• Dental infections
• Gynecologic and intra abdominal infections
• Other infections caused by clindamycin sensitive organisms

DOSAGE
• Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional based on the type and severity of infection
• Common adult dose: 150 mg to 450 mg every 6 to 8 hours
• Capsules should be taken with a full glass of water to prevent esophageal irritation
• May be taken with or without food
• Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve

PRECAUTIONS
• Prescription only antibiotic; use only under medical supervision
• Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to clindamycin or lincomycin
• Use with caution in patients with gastrointestinal disease, especially history of colitis
• Prolonged use may result in superinfection
• Not effective against viral infections such as colds or flu

SIDE EFFECTS
• Diarrhea
• Abdominal pain
• Nausea or vomiting
• Skin rash or itching
• Rarely, Clostridioides difficile–associated diarrhea (pseudomembranous colitis)
Seek immediate medical attention if severe or persistent diarrhea occurs.
